You can probably find it at an auto parts store on the aisle with ridiculous spoilers and wings. I'm confused. How can they pull an out of state car over for not complying with local laws on license plates? If you were there four days and they pulled you over, did you already have a local drivers' license? If they are pulling over out of state cars, that's gotta be teeing off the tourism bureaus! Get a Ticket!

Cops are not going to ticket someone on vacation or just passing through for not having a front license plate. They might pull you over, but after a cordial conversation you'll be on your way. If you are a resident though, it's your responsibility to learn your local and state laws. That said, the majority of cops will just give you a warning, especially if you are new to town.
