Wyko Vision 32 Software
. The Wyko Vision ASCII File Format Summary The Wyko Vision has three different measurement output data formats: the WYKO dataset (.opd), ASCII dataset(.asc), and SDF dataset (.sdf). The.opd and.sdf are binary and so far closed standards. Therefore, currently the ASCII format is the only available format as the input to our algorithms. A.asc file consists of three major parts: the header, the z-profile array, and the intensity array (optional). A typical floating point, XYZ-triplet-pixel data file looks like: The header: (partial) Wyko ASCII Data File Format 1,0,1 X Size,640 Y Size,480 Block Name,Type,Length,Value. The z-profile array: (partial) 0,0,399.202118 0,1,397.400635 0,2,395.085144.
The intensity array: (partial) Intensity,3,1228800, 0,0,14.362668 0,1,8.262820 0,2,1.813468. Various combinations of file saving options can affect the content of each part. The influences on data layout format are summarized in Various File Saving Options and the Data Format. See the following sections for detail. Header The header is an array of lines of data blocks. Each block consists of fields of title, byte-length, and value separated by delimiters. See The Table of the Complete Header Information.
See Various File Saving Options and the Data Format for detail on how different file saving options affect the header information. Data Arrays. Data Arrays contains the z-profile and the intensity array (no intensity array in stitched data). They start right after the header and last until the end of file.
A block of data is typically a line of an X-Y-Value triplet separated by delimiters. In Raw data format, bad data values appear as Bad in the file. A data array is also a single data block with the type code being 3. The title of the z-profile data array can be either RAWDATA or OPD depending on whether the data is post-processed. If the data are saved as integers, there will be an additional block titled Mult between RAWDATA or OPD row and the first line of the actual data. The intensity data array is titled as Intensity. See Various File Saving Options and the Data Format for detail on how different file saving options affect the data.
Various File Saving Options and the Data Format There are five independent option pairs that affect the output data format. Type of Data to Save:. Processed: the output data will be post-processed according to the settings in the menu Analysis- Processed Options. Raw: the post-processing will be bypassed from the output data even if it is performed before saving. Data Format:. Integer: the output value in the data arrays will be saved as integers.
The header data are unaffected. Floating point: the output value in the data arrays will be saved as floating point. The header data are unaffected.

Header:. Complete: most of the header terms in The Table of the Complete Header Information will be present. The data arrays are unaffected. Minimal: Only the header terms in The Table of the Complete Header Information that are Always Available will be present. The data arrays are unaffected.
Delimiter:. Tab: The delimiter of the entire data file will be set to Tab.
This is not suggested by us because as it results in poor human readabililty of the data. Comma: The delimiter of the entire data file will be set to Tab.
This is suggested by us because it leads to a better readability than Tab does. Array Format:. Standard: All the data blocks will be serialized without line breaks; The X and Y coordinates of the data array will not be present while the data order will be the same.
I just wanted to post a brief comment so as to appreciate you for those precious ideas you are sharing at this site. Kpg 49d download. My extended internet lookup has at the end of the day been recognized with good suggestions to write about with my relatives. I ‘d repeat that most of us visitors actually are undeniably lucky to dwell in a good place with many outstanding people with valuable points.
XYZ Triplet, Pixel: Default format, the data array element is presented as X-Y-Value triplet, with the X and Y coordinates being discrete values. XYZ Triplet, Real: The data array element is presented as X-Y-Value triplet, with the X and Y coordinates being real metric value, according to the header term Pixel size There is another option of saving bad pixels as Null.
However, this proves to cause Vision to incorrectly read the data. So the option is banned for now.
Existing Problems. Some of the orders of the header data blocks can be inconsistent among files. Sometimes some fields such as Title and Note will show up twice.
There is a bad data chunk in the title field of the header data block RestoreRatioPercent. No specification is available for the ASCII format yet.
Since our tests are performed without thorugh exploration of the other processing and analysis options, there could be other data blocks especially in the header part can be missing in our documentation. Therefore, This section is meant to be constantly updated as the project goes. Reference Veeco Metrology Group. WYKO NT8000 setup and operation guide.

The Vision program installed from this page will operate all Precision Testers, regardless of model or age, that connect to a separate host computer through a USB cable. It does not operate the Precision Workstation or original Precision Pro/Premier with internal CPUs. The Vision 5.6.x (and later) releases offered a more up-to-date installer than previous versions. Changes include:. New look. No random 'Disk Space Errors'.
C Manifest installation is embedded instead of executing after the installation. The installation may require a reboot, but will only execute on initial installation. Updates will not require a re-installation of the manifest. Vision 5.6.x included a data plotting library update. The data plotting appearance is slightly different.
The right-click Export bug has been repaired. Installer updates to Version 5.6.8 and later do not need to have the previous Vision installation uninstalled. Just download the installer and run it. Older files will be updated by date and new files will be written. To Update Existing Vision Installations. Copy C: DataSets xplorerdb.cpu and C: DataSets Editor List.EL to temporary locations. You may not find all three of these files, depending on your use of Vision.
C: DataSets xplorerdb.cpu is the important file. NOTE: If the existing Vision Version is 4.9.2 or later this step does not need to be taken.
Go to Start-Settings-Control Panel and select 'Add or Remove Programs.' NOTE: If you are updating from Vision 5.6.8 or later, this step and the next step do not need to be taken.
The latest installer will update the existing installation. When the program list is populated, scroll down to and double-click 'Vision'. Allow the program to completely uninstall. Download the installer under the Vision 5 download button below. Run the downloaded installer. Acknowledge all warnings and allow the installation to proceed. At the end of the installation a separate Microsoft Visual C program will run that will update Windows files to run with the Vision program.
Allow this program to run to completion. If installing to a 32-bit Windows version (XP, Vista, 32-bit Windows 7), and updating from a version older than 4.7, then you will need to uninstall and reinstall your tester from its registration in the Window program. Please refer to for assistance. Return the backed up xplorerdb.cpu, and Editor List.EL to C: DataSets, overwriting the files from the installer.
Note that you will not need to repeat the backup or restore steps in the future. NOTE: If the Vision Version being updated is 4.9.2 or later this step does not need to be taken. If Vision fails to start after updating, go to C: Program Files (x86) Radiant Technologies Vision System and sort the file by date. Look for and remove any.vlr files that are older than the current installation. In particular, Poling.vlr and PiezoTest.vlr have been withdrawn. Do not remove TDB.dst, even though it is an older file. At the end of the installation, the installer will open a link to the Radiant Technologies, Inc.
YouTube page. This page provides a variety of general topics and topics directed at specific and specialized equipment and software. This will only happen on initial installation.
Updates do not open the page. Vision may be installed by anybody and may be installed to any number of host computers. A Precision tester does not need to be purchased to license Vision. Several Task Suites in Vision - including Piezo, Chamber, Magneto-Electric Measurements and Transistor Measurements - must be purchased to operate.
The Tasks in these Task Suites are installed by the installer and are available to everyone for review. Everyone can recover and review data collected by licensed versions of the Task Suites.
In order to actually operate the Task Suites, the Tasks must be licensed. A file named Security.Sec is shipped to customers who have purchased one or more Custom Task Suites. The file is copied to the C: Program Files (x86) Radiant Technologies Vision System folder. The Security.sec file is keyed both to the Task Suite(s) purchased and to a code in the specific tester for which the license is issued.
The Task Suites may be licensed on any number of host computers, but the licensed is not transferable to other testers. To Install the Precision Tester. For Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 host computers, Precision Premier II, Multiferroic, LC II and RT66C tester shipped after July 2014 will install themselves with no action required by the user.
